Jeffrey S. Mundt to Lead Industry Solutions for Intelligent Chaos

Tampa, Fla., (September 13, 2007) – After experiencing firsthand the highly successful business transformation Intelligent Chaos’ SOA initiative has taken within Higher Education, Jeffrey Mundt has decided to join the IC firm as a key executive responsible for the firm’s industry solutions including product strategy, marketing, and delivery.

Said Mundt, “
"I am very excited to join Intelligent Chaos on the first of October as Vice President, Industry Solutions. With its solid development team and market leadership in SOA, I believe Intelligent Chaos has the ingredients necessary to continue to develop innovative SOA solutions for its customers.”

Prior to joining Intelligent Chaos, Mundt held multiple senior positions including a Director role at Northwestern University, where he was proud to lead the exceptional group charged with implementing the Financial Management System Projects (Project Café).  In this position, he managed and was instrumental in planning for the overall deployment of Oracle’s Fusion Middleware in parallel with Northwestern’s implementation of PeopleSoft Financials.  He leaves the team poised for a successful outcome of the PeopleSoft Financial project due to go live in September 2008.

In his past tenure with George Washington University, Mundt was responsible for the ERP systems of the school and led the university’s successful implementation of Oracle Financials and a number of other related systems.

Prior to joining George Washington, Mundt was a manager at KPMG and was responsible for several aspects of public sector data-warehousing, including development of a productized solution for government executives.  His work at KPMG built on previous consulting experience in telecoms, government, and the not-for-profit sectors.

“We are continuing to expand our senior management team and look forward to Jeff’s contribution, leading the industry solutions group from product strategy to delivery services, ” said Elaine Myrback, President/CEO of EMS Consulting  and Intelligent Chaos.

With Oracle’s introduction of Fusion Middleware, the use of service oriented architecture continues to expand at a rapid pace.  Intelligent Chaos is showing clients nationally how to leverage Fusion Middleware technologies to the bridge the gaps between people, processes, applications, and data.
