Intelligent Chaos Helps Northwestern University Earn Oracle Excellence Award

 Global Award Recognizes Northwestern University's Collaboration with Intelligent Chaos for Creative Use of Oracle Fusion Middleware with Oracle Applications to Achieve Unique Business Value
 

Tampa, Fla. (October 26, 2007) –  On November 13, 2008, Northwestern University will receive an Oracle Excellence award  at Oracle OpenWorld 2007 in San Francisco.

The award, co-sponsored by the Oracle Applications User Group (OAUG) and Quest International Users Group (Quest), recognizes organizations and their vendor partners for their success in extending the business value of their Oracle Applications with Oracle Fusion Middleware.  

Thomas Kurian, Senior Vice President, Oracle Server Technologies announced in an Oracle press release, “The caliber of the nominees was quite remarkable and demonstrates the success organizations are having as a result of their use of Oracle Applications with Oracle Fusion Middleware.  We are pleased to recognize the recipients for their success in driving business value with their IT investments and also want to congratulate all of the Oracle partners who have helped our customers with these successful implementations.” 

For the award-winning project, Intelligent Chaos and Northwestern built a custom software solution, which offers a real-time integration between a custom J2EE front-end and Oracle’s PeopleSoft Enterprise Financials General Ledger module using Oracle Fusion Middleware.  This enhancement will replace a paper-based process and is expected to be distributed to approximately 1,000 users when it goes live alongside Northwestern’s implementation of PeopleSoft Enterprise Financials in September 2008.
